This is a very nice 70000 series spectrum analyzer system with 22 GHz RF section. The unit has a 50 kHz to 22 GHz frequency range, +30 dBm (1W) max.
The HP Agilent 70205A is a refurbished Oscilloscope, softkeys establish an interactive front panel for the modular instrument, full instrument control, and 3-slot System Graphics Display Mainframe. The Agilent HP 70205A Display module is ideally suited for applications in which space, size, and weight requirements are stringent. It is small, yet gives full control of the modular instruments in your system. Softkeys organized in a menu structure establish an interactive front panel for the modular instrument. Results from up to four independent measurement systems may be shown and simultaneously updated on a single display, and one display may be used to control multiple systems. Without a display in the system, a computer must be used to control the instruments. The display can be separated from the MMS instruments by up to 1 kilometer of MSIB cable for use as a remote manual interface. Works in all 70000 series mainframes.
The HP / Agilent 70310A Precision Frequency Reference is a 1/8-width module that provides reference signals at 10 MHz and 100 MHz for HP 70000 Spectrum Analyzer Systems and other instruments. Signals are phase locked to an internal oversized oscillator, improving the HP 70000 frequency reference accuracy from 3 ppm to 0.1 ppm. An external reference input allows the use of house standards of 1, 2, 5, or 10 MHz. With a highly accurate and stable reference in your system, you can find signals more quickly by tuning to very narrow spans.
The 70902A IF Section adds signal processing elements for spectrum analyzers, lightwave signal analyzers, and other systems. It has 10% incremental bandwidth steps and calibrated logging amplifiers. It has a frequency range of 10Hz to 300kHz.
The 70900A Local Oscillator Module provides a swept LO signal of 3.0 to 6.6 GHz, processes video signals, and acts as master controller for the spectrum analyzer. It contains the system firmware to control and coordinate measurements and to output data. The calibrator is 300 MHz and -10 dBm. The 70900A has a minimum 32K bytes of memory for DLPs.
The 70905A RF section provides broadband input conversion for analyzers. It features broadband low-noise mixers for a high dynamic range of 70 dB and a 10 dB step attenuator for use without a preselector. The unit has a frequency range of 50kHz to 22GHz. It occupies 1 slot of the 70000 Modular Measurement System (MMS).
This unit has just been calibrated. Date due 04/23/10. The unit is in great cosmetic condition. May have a small scratch here or there. All buttons, knobs, and switches are good and intact. The serial #s are 2704A01404, 2629A00463, 2622A00221, 2626A01310, 2629A01155, AND 2631A00532. Unit works with 120 & 240 volts. If the calibration is more than five-months old, we will re-calibrate the unit. We always re-check equipment before shipping. This ensures the equipment is in good working order when it leaves my shop.
